A California company will relocate its headquarters to Kinston, bringing 72 new jobs to Lenoir County.
The announcement was made this morning at the Global TransPark, that's where Commerce Overseas Corporation will build a new facility.
Established in 1967, Commerce Overseas Corporation of Tustin, Calif. provides spare parts support for U.S. manufactured military aircraft in more than 50 countries around the world.
The company will move its headquarters and a warehouse, distribution and manufacturing facility to the Global TransPark.
Over the next three years the company plans to create 72 jobs and invest $4.3 million in Lenoir County. The announcement was made possible in part by a $75,000 One North Carolina Fund grant.
