A judge has ordered the retrial of a man, accused of killing a Pamlico County couple, moved to Craven County.
Prosecutors argued for the change, saying extensive publicity would have made it impossible to try Vaughn Jones a second time in Pamlico County.
Vaughn is accused of of killing Richard & Rosa Flowers in January of 2003.
Last year his trial ended with a hung jury. Superior Court Judge Ben Alford says the retrial in New Bern will begin September 4th.
