An 8 week construction project is just days away from beginning on US 70 in Kinston to shift to the new US 70.
Department of Transportation crews will begin a traffic shift from existing US 70 in Kinston to new US 70 starting March 18th. The work zone area will start at Banks School Road and continue to the Massey Toyota dealership. Traffic will be rerouted as necessary during the construction.
The project is expected to be complete by May 13th.
