A small review of research suggests medical marijuana may benefit people with Multiple Sclerosis.
Five out of six randomized, controlled clinical trials found cannabis reduced episodes of involuntary muscle tension, contractions and improved mobility in MS patients.
It's unclear how much cannabis would be effective in patients without it leading to overuse.

Jude: You do realize of course that growing marijuana is basically like growing grass right? It costs very little to grow and if anyone can do it then costs will not be a problem! Also, maybe you should read YOUR bible. It says, Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things." (Genesis 9:3).

Jude, as far as 'global warming?' Yeah, what the powers that be are betting on is the vast majority of the public did not pay attention in science class. Warming and cooling cycles are a NATURAL part of the scheme of things on our planet. Been happening for millions of years (anybody remember a thing called the Carboniferous Period?? Just one example of many in the Earth's history. Temps same range as this era.) It's second grade science people... Ya'll really believed Gore? Guess what? Yes, we are warming. Yes we will get hotter and then after the ocean currents slow due to the lack of circulation the Earth will be plunged into another Ice Age. We haven't caused it nor have we hastened it. It's arrogant as a population to think humans are of any significance to the planet and it's survival. The powers that be are milking that one to get as much control of some resources as possible. It's one of many scams being perpetrated on the world's citizens...

Anonymous, I think you may be on to something. Look at the most commented stories box to your right and NOTE that the other medical marijuana debate has been removed from view(it now has 212 posts, so it is the 2nd most commented story)making it harder to find. Then up pops this OTHER pro-medical MJ story, this time up-ing the ante to a disease that arouses a more sympathetic view to 'the cause' than just 'NC is debating medical mj use'. Me thinks someone here has a liberal slant... I guess when someone starts shooting some facts regarding the actual studies and the 'science' behind which compounds do what in the human body (and the other fact that they are readily available in commonly eaten fruits and vegetables in varying amounts) it's time to shift gears to emotive blackmail and subterfuge.
