Friday marked the start of the 2007 hurricane season, and Tropical Storm Barry was right on time.
The second named storm of the year, Barry is expected to move from the Gulf and bring rain up the East Coast.
Subtropical storm Andrea was the first named storm of the year.
The impact of Barry should be felt in Eastern Carolina sometime Sunday. The storm could bring 1 to 2 inches of much needed rain.
