Marc Swanner, pastor of New Destiny Pentecostal Holiness Church in Greenville is encouraging his congregation to pray for Seth Price and his family, not condemn them. Price was arrested by Greenville police Friday and charged with eleven separate charges stemming from the church fires January thirteenth. While the suspect is not a member of Swanner's church, he is urging his congregation to work towards forgiveness and apply the religious value of doing good to those that do bad to you. Swanner says after the fires at Memorial Baptist and Unity Free Will Baptist, he took extra security measures at his own church, such as installing security lights on the exterior of the building.
