The Tedi Bear center opened its new center Thursday in Greenville across from Pitt County Memorial Hospital. The sixty one hundred square foot facility is twice as large as the old building, complete with two exam rooms, and interview rooms. Thanks to grants and funding from the Brody School of Medicine, state and local agencies and individuals, they can now provide the privacy and comfort children need if they're involved in an abuse case. With the added space hold child prevention programs will be offered for parents to help them understand the signs of abuse.
