Residents along the Gulf Coast are bracing for Tropical Storm Ida.
Tropical Storm Ida is steadily moving toward the Mississippi and Alabama Gulf Coast with 65 mph winds, down from 105 on Sunday night. The storm should reach the Gulf Coast early Tuesday near Mobile, Alabama.
Forecasters have issued a tropical storm warning for the Gulf Coast from Mississippi to the Florida Panhandle. Tropical storm warnings and watches are in effect along much of the coastline.
Authorities say Ida could make landfall as early as Tuesday morning.
Officials and residents are keeping a close eye on the tropical storm as it approaches, though there are no immediate plans for evacuations.

I know this storm is not strong but just wondering how many helicopters will get shot at this time around or the next and etc.
"guess who" - Gee thank you for that. I lost my stepdaughter in Katrina. Did you forget about the human lives while you were so busy evaluating the neighborhood? And no she wasnt sitting around in Orleans waiting for it to roll in but rather in another area hard hit by it, trying to get out.
My daughter is in Cancoon,Mexico and she said it was going to bypass them,Thank God for that...
