Abortion Bill Draws Concern

Folks in the east and across the country are closely watching a piece of legislation in South Carolina. The South Carolina House approved a bill Wednesday that would require a woman to see an ultrasound picture before getting an abortion. Opponents of abortion think a woman considering one might have a change of heart after seeing a picture of the fetus. Opponents of the ultrasound bill call it emotional blackmail. They're also concerned the bill does not contain any exception for women who are the victims of rape and incest. We spoke with some eastern Carolina residents about the issue.
The bill now goes to the South Carolina Senate. If approved, it would be the first law of its kind in America.
