Carolina Panthers Train Like The Marines

It was a change from the grassy green football field for Sir Purr the Carolina Panthers mascot. He flipped to the ground by the marshall arts team at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville. Sir Purr, along with Carolina Panthers players Chris Draft, Taye Biddle, and Terrance Melton and a few top cat cheerleaders traded in their helmets, padding and uniforms for camouflage. They were ready to train just like the Marines do. From marshall arts, to running through obstacle courses themselves, the Marines experienced how our brave men and women train before fighting for our freedom. Wednesday, the players conducted a football training camp for over 150 children that live aboard the base as well.
