It's a hero's home away from home. The first ever set of Warrior Houses for injured troops and their families, officially opened their doors Thursday to a grateful crowd of service men and women at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville. The homes, provided by the Hope for the Warriors organization, were equipped with top of the line appliances and furniture. The idea is to provide a calming environment for recovering troops and their families.
The two homes will each hold two families. There's also a third home which will serve as a resource house for staff members.
