Kisses, hugs and heartfelt goodbyes. Rows and rows of tightly packed bags lined a lawn aboard Camp Lejeune Wednesday. They belonged to over 200 Marines deploying for duty on a mission to Iraq. Two battalions from Camp Lejeune left on a 12 to 14 month deployment, where they will conduct civil affairs in the war torn country. The deployment is part of a planned rotation of that began in January to replace California based Marines.
