U-S Airways says some passengers missed their flights today at the airline's busiest hub because of a problem with a computerized reservation system. An airline spokesman says no flights are being delayed or canceled, but people missed their flights because of long waits at the ticket counter. Delays also occurred at Philadelphia's airport and in Boston. The Charlotte Observer reported that thousands of U-S Airways passengers suffered through long delays and said passengers had not been able to speak to a ticket agent after waiting more than two hours. By mid-morning U-S Airways began encouraging people to go home, saying it was unlikely it could rebook passengers for later flights.
