Honda says it will make a "major announcement" this morning in Greensboro.
The company has already picked Piedmont Triad International Airport for a corporate office for the HondaJet project, and the airport could become the manufacturing center for the small jet.
This week, officials in Guilford County and the city of Greensboro approved economic incentives for the project.
The manufacturing plant would employ about 300 people in highly paid, skilled jobs to make the jet that weighs less than ten-thousand pounds and is used in the air taxi and corporate flying sectors.
