A lawyer for Anna Nicole Smith says she has died.
She was rushed today to a hospital from the Seminole Hard Rock Cafe Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, where a spokeswoman says she was unresponsive.
She was 39.
Smith married Texas oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall in 1994, when she was 26 and he was 89. He died the following year and she has since been involved in legal disputes over the estate. She took the case to the U.S. Supreme Court.
In September, Smith moved to the Bahamas to give birth to her daughter. A few days later, her 21-year-old son traveled from California to the Bahamas and died in Anna Nicole Smith's hospital room.
She has also been ensnared in a fight over the paternity of her child.
