Lawmen Say It's The First Meth Bust In The County

Lawmen say it all began when they stopped a white pick up truck driving erratically down Prison Camp Road near Williamston Monday afternoon. Investigators were scouting the two suspects in the truck after receiving tips they were operating a meth lab. Authorities tell us the two suspects, Sammy Friday and Clyde Posten, both of Williamston, admitted during questioning they were making meth out of Posten's mobile home. Following the State Bureau of Investigation's survey of the crime scene, a special cleanup crew from South Carolina came in to dispose of all the chemicals.
