Officials with the Guilford County Schools say vandals burned a school bus and damaged several others parked at Western Guilford High School on Sunday.
The vandalism caused an estimated 70-thousand dollars in damage.
Spokesman Chad Campbell says there hasn't been any vandalism during the school year, and there hasn't been anything as severe as the most recent incident.
Besides the burned bus, Campbell says damage to three others include a broken mirror, a broken windshield and a broken window pane. He says a fifth bus was set on fire, but the flames quickly died out.
Campbell says the damaged buses won't affect the transportation schedule for the high school.
