Police are searching for a suspect in a Georgia murder case after he led Nash County authorities on a high-speed chase before escaping into the woods.
A Nash County Sheriff's Office spokesman says authorities from Georgia have arrived to help in the search for the man identified as Patrick Lynch.
Sheriff Dick Jenkins says an officer was following the suspect when Lynch stopped and fled on foot into a wooded area.
Lynch is wanted in a fatal stabbing in Dekalb County, Georgia. He is also wanted for felony possession of a stolen vehicle, felony flight while eluding arrest, and driving with a revoked license.
Authorities consider Lynch extremely dangerous.
