A man has turned himself in for the shooting of a tow truck driver in Rocky Mount. James Taylor, Junior has been arrested for the shooting of William Corbett, who survived the incident.
Police say Taylor turned himself in at the Rocky Mount Police Department late Wednesday afternoon.
Police say Corbett, a tow truck driver, was shot in the parking lot of a club around 3AM Monday morning.
He was hired by the Powder Keg Club on North Church Street in Rocky Mount to tow cars that should not have been parked there.
Police say several people confronted Corbett, one of them Taylor, as he prepared to tow a car, and that's when lawmen say Taylor shot him.
