Some employees got a scare Wednesday when a
surprise visitor charged into their industrial supply store.
A deer entered, ran around and splattered blood in the showroom
at Dillon Supply Company in Goldsboro.
The store's assistant manager, David Earl Williams, says he and
other employees jumped on top of their desks. Others ran outside
until the deer was gone.
Williams says the injured doe left out of the same door.
A few minutes later, it was back to business as usual.
Police responded to a call about the deer, but there's no word
on where she went after leaving the store.
