After sitting on the tarmac and then being evacuated off a chartered plane at a West Virginia Airport, the Marshall University football team has now reboarded and is heading for Greenville.
The Marshall team is traveling to Greenville to play ECU tomorrow.
It appears the plane trouble today was fuel burnoff, and officials say it was not serious. But news of the trouble was certainly chilling in light of Marshall's history. In November 1970, the team was returning to West Virginia after playing ECU in Greenville when the plane crashed, killing all 75 players, staff and fans onboard.
We'll have more on Marshall, starting tonight on WITN-7 News at 5.
