The school board in Guilford County will hold an emergency meeting this morning to decide what to do about Eastern Guilford High School, which was destroyed by fire this week.
Crews have begun tearing down the high school, but it isn't clear where students will go for the rest of the year. At least three area colleges have offered classroom space.
While school was canceled yesterday and today, officials say the athletic season will go on without interruption.
Investigators still don't know what caused the fire, which started in a second-floor chemistry classroom. But they've said a sprinkler system probably could have saved the school.
