Lawyer in Jail After Religious Outburst

A possible prayer has landed a Winston Salem lawyer in jail and could cost him his law license. Raymond Marshall was punished Friday by Superior Court Judge Michael Helms. The case was known for disputes between Marshal and Helms, and Helms had even stopped Marshall's questioning of a witness. At this point Marshall threw his hands in the air and said, "Lord". The lawyer is also a minister and said he was praying because he was frustrated. Judge Helms said it was disrespectful. Marshall was sentenced to two days in jail and a month long suspension on his license.
