Governor Easley Appoints Local Citizen To Coastal Resources Commission

Wayland J. Sermons, Jr. has been appointed to the Coastal Resources Commission by Governor Mike Easley. Sermons serves as the town attorney for both Bath and Chocowinity. He is also president of the Historical Bath Foundation, Inc. The commission is responsible for preparing and adopting rules that establish guidelines for development and land use for coastal areas.
