UPDATE: 4 Vehicle Crash In Greenville Sent 4 To Hospital

Greenville Police say a 4 vehicle crash sent 4 people to the hospital right at the start of rush hour Tuesday. Police say even though one vehicle rolled over on it's side, all the injuries were minor

Police tell WITN the vehicles collided on Williams Road between Greenville Boulevard and Dickinson Avenue about 4:40 p.m Tuesday. A gray sedan involved rolled over on its side. Corporal Johnson says the driver of that gray car, David Cooper, is charged with improper passing and failure to reduce speed. Witnesses reported Cooper tried to pass several vehicles and rear ended one. That vehicle was pushed into another. Police say Copper then sideswiped an oncoming car which sent sent his sedan onto its side. He and three other people were sent to Vidant Medical Center with minor injuries.

The road was shut down right after the crash, and the scene was cleared about 2 hours later at 7:00p.m.
