4 Locked Up, Accused Of Trafficking Meth In Lenoir County

Four people are behind bars, accused of trafficking the addictive drug meth.

The Lenoir County Sheriff's Office says that a 2-month investigation led to the arrest of 32-year-old Fortina Duque, 26-year-old Anibal Celis, 29-year-old Leonel Duque, and 21-year-old Juan Arzola on October 8th.

Officials say surveillance of a home in north eastern Lenoir County led to catching a drug transaction.

Investigators say they moved in and busted the group with 2 pounds of meth with a street value of around $70,000.

The suspects are being held on a $1,000,000 secured bond.
