Musicians were rocking it out in downtown Greenville for something dear to their hearts, the arts.
The first of its kind, it was a concert series with 8 different bands, all performing for free, trying to raise money for the Magnolia Arts Center. Since the concert was free, the arts center volunteers were holding raffles and selling t-shirts to raise the needed dollars which will help go promote the arts in Greenville. Any kind of art could benefit, from independent films, to theater, to the more usual arts like painting, sculpting, and so forth.
