A Camp Lejeune Marine has been killed while fighting in Afghanistan.

A Camp Lejeune Marine has been killed while fighting in Afghanistan.
The Department of Defense announced the death of Lance Corporal Jessie Cassada today.
The 19 year old from Hendersonville was killed yesterday during combat.
He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment at Camp Lejeune.

My heart goes out to this brave young man's family. My son is in Afghanistan and there is not a day that goes by that I do not pray for him and all our sons and daughters. May God Bless you during this time of loss.
