North Carolina was one of two states which showed little change in the number of alcohol-related traffic deaths last year. More than 1000 overall. But all the other states aren't too far behind. That's prompted traffic safety officials to start a new campaign promising serious consequences for those who drive drunk. Safety officials say they'll launch an eleven million dollar advertising campaign targeting male drivers ages 21 to 34, along with sobriety checkpoints and additional patrols.
