In the heat of the summer, trapped heat inside a car can kill. Even just a few minutes with the windows cracked could prove fatal for a child or family pet. We conducted a test Friday. We closed the windows to one of our cars and measured the temperature inside after just ten minutes. It reached 110 degrees inside the vehicle.
