If you venture out on Eastern Carolina waterways on a boat or jet-ski you’ll want to watch out. Plenty of storm debris from Tropical Storm Alberto is showing up. Huge logs and trees are being lifted off banks and swamps by the rising waters. The debris is certainly keeping dock attendants at the Washington waterfront busy. They are pushing away logs, even tying some of them up to the docks to keep them away from boaters on the Pamlico River.
