After 31 years -- chief investigator Lee Moore of the Pitt County Sheriff Office is retiring.

Moore's last day on the job was Friday. He was just 20 years-old when he joined the sheriff's department in 1977 under sheriff Ralph Tyson.

Moore says right now he's not sure what he'll do with all of the time but knows for sure he'll be hitting the water to do some fishing.
