More than 100 eastern North Carolina businesses got a chance to show off their wares Thursday.

Thousands of people crammed into the Riverfront Convention Center for the annual Greater New Bern Business Expo.

From new energy drinks to shrimp bisque, residents and tourists could see, test and taste what eastern Carolina has to offer.

New Bern Chamber of Commerce officials say about 120 area businesses participated in this years event.
