Gas prices continue to drop, however gas is still higher this Labor Day weekend than it was last year.
Triple-A reports there is a 94 cent increase in Labor Day gas prices compared to a year ago. Triple-A also expects a decrease in holiday travelers on the road.
North Carolina Department of Transportation has suspended much of its road construction. Those driving can expect smooth travels to the beach or barbecue.
