It didn't happen. That was the testimony Wednesday of a family member in the innocence commission case of Henry Reeves, a former Plymouth police office convicted of molesting his daughter in 2001.
Officials say the victim's brother testified the molestation did not happen. Reeves was convicted and served time, but he maintains his innocence. He has taken his case before the North Carolina Innocence Commission in Greenville, the first commission of its kind in the nation.
The three judges on the panel must unanimously agree Reeves was not guilty for him to be exonerated.
