Arrests In Ayden Murder, Hispanic Robberies

A big break in two major crimes lawmen have been investigating in Pitt County. Two people have been arrested in connection with Tuesday night's murder in Ayden that left 26-year old Dwain Michael Maxwell dead, just blocks from his home. The suspects are also charged in a string of robberies targeting Hispanics. The Pitt County Sheriff's Department arrested 20 year-old Perry Williams and 18 year old DeCarlos Hines at 105 Lee Street in Greenville. Chief Lee Moore with the Pitt County Sheriff's Department says an individual who cooperated with authorities, and is possibly involved in the crimes, gave information which led to the arrests. Chief Moore isn't specifying the charges against them. He says there are looking for a third suspect.
