Lawmen say a Florida grandmother did not understand what was wrong with driving her 3-year-old granddaughter on the roof of her car.

Lake Worth deputies arrested 54-year-old Brenda Bouschet Tuesday and charged her with child abuse.

Dispatchers say they received several calls that a woman was driving around a grocery store parking lot with a little girl on the roof.

Bouschet told deputies she was trying to give her granddaughter some air and let her have some fun.

The girl was not hurt.

Grandma, If you want to give the kid some air, push her in a swing. don't ride her on the top of a car. what was she thinking about, made a toy doll.

Whats wrong with that. Its not like she was speeding or driving like an idiot.Riding a child on a four wheeler, bicycle,or motorcycle is far more dangerous than letting the little girl have some fun.Stop living in the goverments box and have some fun for a change.

Ok, what the heck is this woman thinking? I have an 11 and 12 yr old and I would not even let them sit on the roof with the car parked! A 3 yr old that can easily jump out of this womans arm reach! If I was the daughter that would be the last time she baby-sat for me! CRAZY!

What is this world coming too when you can't let your kids ride on the roof of the car.

I don't have children, but I simply can't fathom why somenoe would do this! I wonder if the grandmother is crazy or mentally challenged. That is child abuse.

Grandma needs to be put on medication. She definitely has lost her mind.

Let's put Grandma on the hood and drive down I-4 - that might show her something! What an IDIOT! And who would she blame when the girl fell off and was run over....would she blame the government because they couldn't control the temperature?
