DNA results have been completed on the Duke Lacrosse team, being investigated for possibly raping an exotic dancer at a team party on March 13. According to a spokesperson for the North Carolina Justice Department, the results have been sent to police and prosecutors, but the department at this time won't release the findings. As far as DNA evidence goes, many investigators say it's much more accurate, and it doesn't take nearly as long to get the evidence as it has in the past.
Both the team's captains and attorneys for team members have said the DNA tests will show the allegations are false. No charges have been filed.
