Severe weather is moving through Eastern Carolina this afternoon. Strong winds, gusting rains, hail, thunder and lightning are in the storms. There is a report of damage to a home in the Martin County town of Jamesville. Other counties are reporting power outages and heavy hail. Several warnings are in effect. Once this first line of storms moves east off our coast in the next hour or so, there will be a lull when the weather clears up. Later this afternoon into this evening, there will be another line of storms, perhaps more severe. Stay tuned to WITN-7 News for the latest.
