It’s light, it’s jiggly, and Wednesday Jello went airborne. It was all part of a yearly tradition at Pitt County Memorial Hospital where kids in the Children's Hospital get to have a little fun with their doctors and throw the jiggly Jello at them.
Kids of all ages, and with all illnesses, took part. David Fambrough, the hospital chaplain, says this messy fun can go a long way for a child in recovery.
The doctors, nurses, and anyone else that were targets only had towels, goggles, robes and hair nets to protect them from the flying Jello. Needless to say, some of them left a little sticky.
