Read the Full FCC Report on Proposed Indecency Fines

The government is proposing a $3,600,000 fine against CBS and dozens of it stations and affiliates. The Federal Communications Commission says it’s over indecent television programming.

Specifically, the FCC said a network program "Without a Trace" that aired in December of 2004, had graphic sexual depictions of teenage boys and girls. Only stations in the Central and Mountain Time zones were fined because the program aired before 10 p.m.

The FCC also upheld the $550,000 fine stemming from the Janet Jackson Super Bowl "wardrobe malfunction."
