A school uniform policy in effect in some Washington schools will be implemented countywide next year. Monday night The Beaufort County Board of Education approved expanding the uniform policy to all schools. Some parents who attended the meeting voiced concerns about the cost of buying uniforms. Other parents spoke out in support. School superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Moss says the school uniform policy is for both consistency and student safety.
