Officials at East Carolina University are using video gaming methods to improve learning in the classrooms and beyond. Dr. M.H.N. Tabrizi uses a virtual motion suit that will make a virtual body in his virtual class. It's all in an effort to get higher technology and higher education levels to the more rural areas of Eastern Carolina. The virtual classroom is a far cry from the older online distance education classes that officials say are just lecture pages. Doctors with the program say other professors at East Carolina University can come in and get digitized for their own virtual classrooms.
