A two hour special Dateline NBC Friday on WITN took a look at computer sex predators, grown men who search internet chatrooms in hopes of finding and hooking up with young teenagers. It's a frightening thought if you have kids. Here in North Carolina a law that went into effect a year ago in December, the Child Exploitation Prevention Act, makes it a felony for an internet predator to solicit anyone, including an undercover Officer, he or she believes to be a child.
