The jury in the case of a Washington County woman accused of murdering her boyfriend in 2004 handed down a guilty verdict Wednesday afternoon. 24-year-old Sherri Anthony is convicted of the voluntary manslaughter of Antonio Wrighton. The jury's decision was unanimous. Lawmen say this case began as a domestic dispute at the couple's home. They say on the evening of April 6, 2004, an argument ensued between Anthony and Wrighton at their home on Sawmill Circle in Plymouth. Prosecutors say Anthony stabbed Wrighton one time in the chest which killed him. The jury deliberated for about four hours before coming back with a decision. Anthony faces between 61 and 83 months in prison.
