Will Gas Prices Affect Holiday Travel?

The steady drop of gas prices probably won't have a big impact on Thanksgiving travel this year.

Despite prices dropping nearly a dollar per gallon since Labor Day, AAA Carolinas says auto travel is expected to only be up 0.6 percent from last year.

A year ago 1.5 million North Carolinians traveled the roadways at a time when gas prices in the state averaged a $1.92 per gallon.
