The governors' highway safety "Booze It and Lose It" campaign kicked off on our coast Thursday. State and local law enforcement agencies combed Bypass 158 and Beach Road for drunk drivers and drugs. Several motorists were arrested for cocaine, marijuana, and alcohol. The beach communities want to send a strong message, that drunk driving won't be tolerated. A similar campaign was launched Friday in Western North Carolina.
