Its a tradition that brings out the old and the young alike in Greenville, and also brings out lots and lots of purple and gold.
This year's Homecoming Parade was lead by some of the oldest ECU grads. The oldest two living ECU letterwinners were on hand to lead the parade down downtown 5th Street in Greenville, and the parade didn't disappoint. High school bands, ECU's own band, floats, Petey the Pirate, cheerleaders, student organizations, the homecoming court and much more were all part of the parade, something that instills a family atmosphere in all who attend.
The parade gave kids a chance to get their hands on lots of candy before Halloween, and gave viewers a chance to watch it from home. The parade was broadcast live right here on WITN 7.
