Friday night was the big night, kick off for the 19th Annual North Carolina Seafood Festival here in Morehead City.
Things may be picking up a little bit now but the scene this morning was all about vendors setting up their booths, the main stage getting ready and doing last minute tests of amusement rides. The Super Shot is a ride that is making it's debut at this year's seafood festival. The ride carries you above the park and then puts you in a free fall. Before lunch there were already folks walking around, checking to see if any rides had opened.
Unfortunately things didn't open up until 5 o'clock Friday evening.
