Groundbreaking to Help Law Enforcement

A groundbreaking for a new public safety training center and firing range for Pitt Community College kicked off Saturday morning. The 120 acres site opened near North Pitt High School off Highway 11. It will soon house a firing range and officials say they hope to build a driving course in the near future.
